Waynetown - Oran B. Fenters, 59, of Waynetown died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Mr. Fenters was an engineer for Indiana Bell Telephone Co and had been an employee of the Crawfordsville office for 25 yeares. He was a member of Waynetown Christian Church and Waynetown Town Board. He was born at Attica May 13, 1919, a son of Austin and Maude Oland Fenters. He was an Army veteran and had served in Germany during WWII. He was a 1937 graduate of Attica HS. Mr. Fenters had lived at Waynetown since 1967. He formerly lived at Williamsport. In 1943 he was married at Williamsport to the former Catheryn Walker, who survives. Other survivors are his mother, of Attica; four sons, Dennis Fenters of Honolulu; Michael Fenters of Waynetown; Mark Fenters of Shannondale and Alan Fenters at home; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Plummer of West Point; a brother, Noel Fenters of Attica; a sister, Mrs. George (Mildred) Miller of Attica; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. - kbz

A brief burial service was held at the Masonic Cemetery Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ruth (CJ) Fenters, by the Rev. Otto Williams of the Christian Church, Attica. Mrs. Fenters passed away at her home in Attica early February 3 and funeral services were held there. The bereaved husband will reside in Attica with his parents, who will also care for his 9-weeks old son, Richard Kedrick. -kbz
