Mrs. George Hughes was called to Indianapolis on Tuesday morning by the death of her sister, Mrs. J.G. Fenn, who was formerly Miss Daisy Robbins and with many dear friends in this city. The cause of her death was hasty consumption. Mrs. Fenn spent several of her girlhood years in this city. After her marriage to Mrs. Fenn they went south to make that their home, only a short time ago coming back to Indiana to make their home at Evansville. Recently they removed to Indianapolis, Mrs. Fenn’s condition showing improvement. Her death was entirely unexpected. The body was taken to Henderson, Ky for interment. - transcribed by kbz

Mrs.
J. G. Fenn, nee Daisy Robbins, died at Indianapolis
last Tuesday from consumption, aged 31 yeas. Mrs. Fenn was a sister of Mrs.
George F. Hughes, of this city, and resided in this city for five years. After
her marriage she and her husband lived in Montgomery ,
Ala. , until a short time ago when they moved
to Evansville .
Two or three weeks ago Mr. and Mrs. Fenn came to Indianapolis for a visit with Mrs. Wm Nutt,
and while there they concluded to make that city their home, going to
housekeeping in that city only a week ago. Mrs. Hughes returned from Indianapolis on Monday,
Mrs. Fenn apparently being much improved in health. The body was taken to Henderson, Ky., Wednesday for interment. -s
