Melvin D. FAUST, 68, prominent Mace farmer, who was injured August 29 when struck by a tree near his home died early Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient since the accident. A lifelong resident of the Mace community, Mr. Faust was born June 15, 1873, the son of Frank and Sarah Faust. He was married to Ella Thompson in September 1894 and was a member of the old Mace Christian Church and Knights of Pythias Lodge. Surviving are the widow, mother, a son, Henry Faust of this city, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle McAnaninch also of this city and Marcile at home; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren, three brothers, Otis of Crawfordsville; Homer of Ladoga and Charles of Linnsburg and 3 sisters, Mrs. Dave Hugelheim and Mrs. Quince Elmore of this city and Mrs. Lillie Engle of Linnsburg. The body was taken to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home and later returned tot he family residence at Mace where friends may pay their respects. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Mace Methodist Church with burial at Mace Knights of Pythias Cemetery - kbz
