Henry F. Faust, 64, of 406 S. Mill St., died Monday afternoon in Culver Hospital of injuries he received last Tuesday in a fall from a 20-foot ladder while working on a street light in front of 9 Park Forest. Mr. Faust suffered a fractured neck vertebrae in the mishap. He also had a severe laceration of the scalp. There apparently were no witnesses to the accident. Born June 21, 1897, at Mace, he was the son of Melvin D. and Ella E. Thompson Faust. He married Mary Fairfield in 1924. Mr. Faust had been employed as a lineman by Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power Co. the past 36 years. He was a member of the Mace Methodist Church and Crawfordsville Masonic and Eagles lodges. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Maurice Jacklin of Indianapolis, and Mrs. William Warner, Mrs. Charles Caldwell and Mrs. Harold Everman, all of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle McAnnich and Mrs. Marcille McCormic, both of Crawfordsville; 18 grandchilderen, two great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating. Interment will be in the Mace K of P Cemetery. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge. Rites of the Eagles Lodge will be conducted at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
