Aaron Faust, aged 93 years, died Monday evening at 7 o’clock of the infirmities of old age at the residence of his grandson, Lee Surface with whom he made his home. The funeral occurred on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. TD Fyffe officiating. Mr. Faust was born in Ohio, but came to this county among the very first settlers and entered a farm five miles south of the city. Mr. Faust was a highly moral and upright man and was an ardent advocate of the cause of temperance. – kbz
