wife Chessie Jan 1872 3 ch 1 living KY KY KY Dressmaker & daughter Kenneth (?) Oct 1896 KY KY KY so obviously they were newcomers to the community, and sadly, it didn't go well :( But, here's THE REST OF THE STORY -- he is found in the next 3 censuses in Hillsboro then in 1920 in Waynetown. First wife died in Oct 1911 - he married #2 Estella Shepherd. He died in Montgomery County, 1946 but to date, I've not gotten his obituary to see where he's buried (can't find on findagrave.com either -- but DO KNOW THAT THE WAVELAND INDEPENDENT falsley or unknowingly anyway gave his death at the wrong time.
