Darlington – Mrs. Ivall D. “Deanie” Farley, 49 of Rt 1, Darlington, who for many years was a nurse’s aide at Culver Hospital, died after a short illness at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. She also helped her husband Leslie as a motor route carrier for the Journal-Review. Mrs. Farley was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alph Sorority and attended Garfield Christian Church. She was born March 1, 1925 at Crawfordsville, a daughter of Glenn and Hallie Moore Eggers. She married Leslie E. Farley on July 3, 1942. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James of Crawfordsville and Howard of Darlington; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Maltsberger of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Sherry Benge of Darlington; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Martin of Hardy, Ark and Mrs. Wilma Johnson of Lafayette and 11 grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother preceded Mrs. Farley in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home atCrawfordsville with Rev. Robert Penrod officiating. Interment will be in Weir Cemetery southwest of Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
