NEW MARKET — Mrs. Iva H. Fairfield, 76, of New Market, died Sunday in Culver Hospital. She had attended Boone County schools. Born May 23, 1900, in Boone County, she was a daughter of Joe and Ida Wyatt Johns. She was married to Elmer Wade who died and then later married Samuel Fairfield who is also deceased. Surviving are a stepson, John Fairfield of Plainfield; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Norma Jean Davis of Titusville, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Lemon of near Whitesville; and a nephew, Ray J. Lemon. Four brothers are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powers Funeral Home at New Market with burial in Jamestown IOOF Cemetery. The Rev. Dwayne Hopkins will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.--waw
