Walter FAGAN, 63, former local man died Saturday at Evansville after an illness extending since April with complications according to word received here. Mr. Fagan was born Oct 15, 1872, in Montgomery County, the son of James and Elizabeth Crowder Fagan. He was married in 1894 to Allie Bottorff and later, in 1926, to Vera Carlson. Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Nina Heller of Chicago; a son, Jesse Fagan, of Crawfordsville; 14 grandchildren and a host of friends. One daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home in this city in charge of Rev. CC Ward, pastor of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church burial in Hutton Cemetery, Garfield. -- kbz
