John B. Ewing, former resident of Buck Creek died yesterday morning at 5:30 o’clock at his home in Crawfordsville.  He had been sick two weeks and was a victim of pneumonia.  Mr. Ewing was a farmer and was well and favorably known in Tippecanoe County.  He was 39 years old and is survived by a wife and one daughter, Ina Ewing.  He also leaves three stepchildren and the following sisters: Mrs. Addie Hawkins of Taylors; Mrs. JC Plue and Miss Nellie Ewing of Shadeland and Mrs. SD Stanfield of Dayton.  The body will arrive here tomorrow morning at 11:50 o’clock over the Monon and will be forwarded to Buck Creek on the traction line. The final services will be held from the Buck Creek ME Church at 2:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon.  Interment in the Hollywood Cemetery. - kbz
