Crawfordsville, Ind Nov 27 – Relatives learned today of the death of Voorhees LeRoy Everson, 48, president of the United Cooperative Oil Company of Indianapolis who had gone to Bartlesville, Oklahoma on a business trip. His death was attributed to a heart attack. A former Crawfordsville resident, Everson organized a farm bureau bulk oil plant here. He later was transferred to Indianapolis. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Hazel Everson; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Mills of Goshen and Miss Mabel Everson of Indianapolis and a brother. Funeral services probably will be held here Tuesday. – kbz

Funeral services for Voorhees LeRoy Everson, age 48, 5875 N New Jersey Street president of the United Cooperatives Oil Association, Inc who died Sunday at Bartlesville, Oklahoma will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery, Waynetown. Mr. Everson left Indianapolis Friday for Bartlesville on a business trip. He became ill soon after his arrival there. He was born near Crawfordsville April 25, 1890 and many years ago organized at Crawfordsville what is believed to be the first Farm Bureau Bulk Oil Plant in the United States. Later the Farm Bureau placed him in charge of its oil business here. The cooperative of which he was president is associated with the Indiana Farm Bureau Federation. Before entering the oil business, Mr. Everson had been a rural mail carrier at Crawfordsville. He was a Mason and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville and the Ulen Country Club, Lebanon. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge at Waveland. His parents were William and Matie Everson. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Hazel Everson; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Everson, Indianapolis and Mrs. Ralph J. Mills, Goshen and a brother, OP Everson, Crawfordsville. – kbz
