Everett V. Everson, 73, of 1414 W. Main St., died Wednesday morning in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. Mr. Everson retired in 1968 after 21 years with R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Montgomery Lodge 50 F&AM and the Donnelley Square Club. A native of Whitesville, he was born Feb. 14, 1903, a son of William and Gertrude Nichols Everson. He was married June 29, 1927, to Erlene Elliott, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Henderson of Crawfordsville and Marlene Everson of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert of Chicago; and a grandson, Stephen Henderson. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James Renard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. - jlr
