Louis Clifford "Cliff" Everett, retired employe of R. R. Donnelley & Sons, died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home at 408 Maple Court. Mr. Everett, who retired from the printing firm in 1967 after 43 years' service, was 67 years old. At the time of his retirement, he was a pressman in Department CC. The deceased was an active member of the Montgomery County Republican Men's Club. Born on Jan. 26, 1902, in Crawfordsville, he was the son of James Gilbert and Pearl Truitt Everett. He was married on Dec. 12, 1926, to Maple Dykes. The ceremony took place in the First Christian Church here. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Paul Everett of Chicago, Army Capt. Robert Everett, now stationed at Huntsville, Ala., and Eugene Everett of New Market; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Wilson of Leesburg, Va.; four brothers, Lester of Crawfordsville, Leo of Indianapolis, Hubert of Lafayette and Lloyd of Rolling Meadows, Mo., and eight grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church with Rev. Howard Miller officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the services. Friends may call at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
