Darlington Nov 3 - Mrs. Johanna Evans, 56 years of age died Thursday afternoon at her home, 4 mi. west of Darlington. Death resulted from an accident a months ago in which Mrs. Evans was thrown from a buggy, sustaining sev. broken ribs and other internal injuries. The deceased was a daughter of the late Washington Conrad. She leaves 3 daughters, Mis Ethel Evans, Mrs. Alma Kennedy and Mrs. May Lewis and several brothers and sisters. James Evans, the husband and one son preceded her in death. - kbz

Mrs. Joanna Evans, who met with a serious accident some time ago, in which she was thrown from a buggy died from the effects of this accident yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at her home 4 miles west of town. She was 56 years of age and was the widow of the late James Evans. She leaves 3 children, Mrs. May Lewis of near Lafayette, Mrs. Alma Hamilton of Union City and Miss Effie Evans at home; 3 sisters, Mrs. Emma Henderson, Mrs. Lizzie Wisehart and Mrs. Lydia Love and two brothers Wallace and Clint Conrad. - kbz
