LAFAYETTE — Mamie Alice Mastin Etter, 75, died at Home Hospital at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday. She had been ill since May and in the hospital since Aug. 21. She was born Jan. 18, 1888, in Smartsburg, and was reared in Crawfordsville. She moved to Lafayette in 1910. Mrs. Etter made her home in Lafayette, however, she was regularly employed by the State School at Fort Wayne for 18 years, retiring in 1955. She was formerly employed at the Methodist Home in Lebanon. Mrs. Etter attended Grace EUB Church in Lafayette, was a member of Royal Neighbors of America Lodge and the Triumph Rebekah Lodge 291. Survivors include two sons, Merle and Morris of Lafayette, and two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Williams, Lafayette, and Mrs. Adrian Trachsel, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1: 30 p.m. Saturday at the Hippensteel Funeral Home with Rev. John E. Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. --typed by Walt W
