Lawrence B. (Bert) Etter, pioneer New Market merchant and buisness leader died at Culver hospital Thursday morning at 7:15 o'clock following an illness of three weeks with a complication of ailments. Mr. Etter would have been 72 years of age on next November 14. He was born near Alamo, the son of Jefferson and Elizabeth Denman and was married to Amelia Rice of New Market. Mr. Etter operated a general store in New Market from 1908 until 1920 and in recent years, associated with his sons, has conducted an automobile agency and implement business. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge. - kbz
