GREENWOOD (Johnson County buried Greenwood Cemetery) - Aeno Etchison was brought here from Crawfordsville and buried Monday morning. He died of paralysis at the age of seventy-three. Mr. E. formerly lived here and was the father of Mrs. Howard Henry.

A.E. Etchison died at Elmdale, Aug. 29, 1896, aged 92 years,
from paralysis, leaving four daughters and one son, Mrs. William Foot and Mrs.
J. H. Allen, of Elmdale; Mrs Wright Marble, of Richmond; Mrs. Howard Henry, of
Greenwood, and Preston Etchison, of Mocksville, N. C. the burial occurred at
Greenwood, Ind., Monday afternoon.

A.E. Echison departed this life Aug. 29 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Foot. He had been a great sufferer for a long time and he had been as helpless as a child for some time. He had been a faithful member of the M. E. Church for a number of years. The funeral was conducted by Elder Broomfield, of Wingate, last Sunday evening at the house at 6 o’clock. The remains were taken to Greenwood and laid to rest by the side of his companion. He leaves four daughters and one son and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
