Miss Hannah Louetta Rakestraw was born Dec 15, 1877 the daughter of William H. and Inez Rakestraw. She was married to Lon Esra in 1895 and to them two sons were born: Claud and Frank Esra. To my many and kind friends, who extended their assistance, sympathy and flowers in behalf of my recent bereavement in the death of my daughter (sic), I take this method and thanking one and all - husband and two sons, mother, brother, sisters.
Precious darling, she has left us.
Left us, yes, for ever more,
But we hope to meet our loved one
On that bright and happy shore
Lonely the house and sad the hours
Since our dear one has gone,
For a brighter home than ours
In heaven is now her home.

Funeral services in memory of the late Mrs. Lon Esra were held this Thursday afternoon at the home, 609 Illinois Street. Rev. JM Alexander of the Christian Church of which Mrs. Esra was a member for many years conducted the services. The flower bearers were Miss Orrah Foreman, Miss June Vancleave, Miss Ruth Skelton and Miss Bessie White. The pall bearers were Miss Arrah Foreman, Will Elkins, Mrs. Elizabeth Todd, Miss Emma Foreman, Miss Nellie Griffith and Miss Rhoda Skelton. The flower and pall bearers were all sister members of the Royal Neighbors drill team to which the deceased belonged. Burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Page 2—Funeral services for Mrs. Lon Esra, whose death was announced briefly in The Review, Tuesday will be held from the home, 609 Illinois Street at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. JM Alexander of the Christian Church will officiate and the Royal Neighbor lodge will conduct the ritualistic service of that order. Six members of the lodge will also act as pall bearers. Mrs. Esra was born in Crawfordsville, Dec 15, 1877 and was 33 years of age at the time of death. She was the daughter of William and Inez Largent Rakestraw and had lived here all her life. Mrs. Esra was a member of the Christian Church for 14 years and was active in the work of that denomination in this city. She also held membership in the Royal Neighbors. Her death occurred Tuesday afternoon at 1:55 o’clock and came as a sad shock to her family as well as a host of friends in this city. Burial will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
One of these two gals is Hannah Luetta the other Bertha Esra McCormick - not sure which is which - if someone knows, please let me know - thanks muches - note seems it would be the one in the polka dots as she's not as old - the other one looks too old, this gal wasn't all that old when she died
