Mrs. Walker W. Winslow, 3834 N Delaware Street received word today of the death of her father, William Sanford Epperson, age 87, Ladoga at Plymouth, where he had been visiting.  A life resident of the Ladoga Community, he was a descendant of an early pioneer family that settled in Montgomery County. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had lived on a farm that was granted to his ancestors by the government land office in 1820. Survivors besides Mrs. Winslow are two grandchildren, Walker W. Winslow, NY and Eleanor Winslow and three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lee, Mrs. Everett Eltzroth and Mrs. Nettie Kennedy, Indianapolis and a brother WW Epperson, Jackson Miss. Funeral and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Ladoga. - kbz
