Minerva Jane ENDICOTT, daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Needham Booher was born March 4, 1847 and slept peacefully away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maggie Chadwick on Dec 29, 1937 at the age far beyond the three score years and 10 being 90 years 9 months 25 days. Nov 1, 1864 she was united in marriage to Aaron Endicott and to this couple were born 7 children two of whom, Mrs. Mecena Meek and Anna Endicott preceded her in death. Her companion for almost 37 years was called away June 3, 1931. Surviving children to mourn her passing are: Mrs. Clara Bowen; Mrs. Maggie Chadwick; Albert S; Leodamus and Raydo Endicott; 12 living grandchildren and 3 deceased; 14 great grandchildren and one great great and many other relatives and friends. She united with the Lutheran Church in her youth and lived a consistent Christian life. Aunt "Nerve" as she was so familiarly known to her many friends was ever ready to give a cheerful word and a helping hand to those in need. Her ideals were above reproach; her admonitions for truth right and justice unquestionable. Pallbearers were grandsons and flower bearers were great great grandchildren. As the sturdy oaks of life are cut down by the scythe of time let us ever be thankful for the restful, refreshing shadows cast for us by those true lives.
