Darlington - James Henry Endicott, 45, died suddenly Tuesday morning of a heart attack at a Darlington cigar store. He was a lifelong resident of Darlington. Mr. Endicott was the son of Homer and Anna Stewart Endicott. On June 10, 1939 he was married to Betty L. Peterson. A carpenter most of his life, Mr. Endicott had operated the Texaco Service Station at Darlington for the last five years. He was a member of the Darlington Methodist Church, the American Legion at Darlington and the Darlington Conservation Club and had served in the Navy in the European theater during WWII. He was a Darlington HS graduate. Survivors include the wife; a son, Thomas of Darlington;t he parents of Darlington; a brother, Everett of Indianapolis; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Cain of Darlington. Funeral arrangements are pending at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. - kbz
