Aug. 9, 1930-June 20, 2011: George Mayford Endicott of Crawfordsville died Monday in his home. He was 80. Mr. Endicott retired from R.R. Donnelley's. He served in the Army in Korea. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1948 and was a member of Young's Chapel. He was born Aug. 9, 1930, at Garfield, to Mayford Earl and Eunice (Thomas) Endicott. He married Mary Pauline Kendall. She died March 25, 2005. Survivors include: daughters, Paula Jo Green of Darlington, and Jacqueline Joyner and Ann Bennett, both of Terre Haute; step-daughters, Barb Scaggs, Mary Alice Conrad and Linda Kay Endicott, all of Crawfordsville, and Teresa Livengood of Fort Wayne; brother Ronald Endicott of Alexandria, Va.; sister Doris Parker of Deland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Son Daniel Endicott and brother Clyde Endicott are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North with military rites conducted by the VFW/American Legion. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
