Ladoga, Aug 23 – Mrs. Forrest EMMERT, wife of BO Emmert, and daughter of Samuel Ailes of this place, passed away at Bloomington Hospital Tuesday evening at 5 o’clock after undergoing a major operation on the previous Friday. Both Mr. and Mrs. Emmert were attending IU when she was taken ill. The body was removed to the home of her uncle, Roy Ailes in Advance and the funeral services were held from the north Christian Church, Advance at 10:30 am. Thursday. The deceased was 41 years of age. Rev. Dowling, pastor of Advance Church had charge of the service. Burial in Jamestown Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ailes and Mrs. Belle Payne of this place attended the funeral. - kbz
