R. Cline Elmore, 61, former resident of this community died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in Ball Memorial Hospital at Muncie. He had been ill several months. Mr. Elmore, who was a furniture salesman and had lived in Muncie the last 30 years was born southwest of Crawfordsville Aug 3, 1904, a son of Charles I. and Edna Brandon Elmore. He was a 1924 graduate of Crawfordsville HS and member of Mace Methodist Church. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Lena A (Burchell) Elmore, at Muncie; the mother, Mrs. Edna Elmore of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Clyde Vannice of Rt 6, and brother, Eston E. Elmore of Crawfordsville. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
