Elmore - Eston "Dutch"

Eston B. "Dutch" Elmore, 79 of 118 S. Vine St died at 9:42 p.m. Sat in the ER of Culver Union Hospital. He had been seriously ill for the last four months. He was employed by RR Donnelley & Sons as a linotype foreman for 42 12 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge 50 F&AM and Square D Club as well as a life member of Elks Lodge 483. He was educated in Mace schools and graduated from CHS in 1924. Mr. Elmore was born Aug 28, 1906 in Montgomery County to Charles and Edna Brandon Elmore. He was married to Dorothy Everson Aug 28, 1927, at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are two sons David of Brown County and Thomas F. of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A brother, a sister and an infant son preceded him in death. Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son FH with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery North. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. - kbz
