Mrs. Charlotte D. Elmore, 84, died at 8 a.m. Monday in Culver Hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks. She and her husband, Roy Elmore, who survives, resided at 104 N. Pine St. The deceased was a member of the Crawfordsville Church of Christ. A native of Montgomery County, she was born on Sept. 12, 1883, the daughter of William T. and Melvina Baldwin Grimes. She was first married in 1904 to Frank Foreman. Mr. Foreman died in 1926. In 1937, she married Mr. Elmore. Surviving besides the husband are three sons, Harry W. and William T. Foreman of Crawfordsville and Forrest L. Foreman of San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Evans of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Joan Perry of Santa Monica, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Hume of Lawrenceville, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Peck officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
