Mace -- Mrs. Bessie ELMORE, formerly Miss Bessie FAUST, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faust of Mace died at her home in Danville, IL at 9 Monday morning according to word received by relatives here. Complications following a severe attack of measles caused her death. Mrs. Elmore had many friends here. She lived here all her life, until her marriage before the family removed to Danville 5 years ago. The body will be brought here at 3 this evening and the funeral conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of the sister of the deceased, Mrs. David Hugelheim of Linnsburg. Rev. Hicks will officate and Mrs.Hicks and Mrs. Edwards will sing. Burial in Knights of Pythias. Cemetery. Besides the husband, Quincy Elmore, two little children survive. - kbz

Relatives in this city have received word of the death of Mrs. Bessie ELMORE at Danville, Il at 8:30 yesterday morning. Her death was due to complications following an attack of measles. Mrs. Elmore was formerly Miss Bessie FAUST Of Mace and has resided at Danville about 5 years. Mrs. Elmore has been in poor health for over a year suffering from rheumatism. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faust who still reside at Mace rec’d word that she was dangerously ill and was not expected to live Sunday night and they started for Danville early yesterday morning. They arrived too late, however as her death occurred at about 8:30. Shortly after her marriage Mrs. Elmore came to this city to reside but lived here a short time going to Danville about 5 years ago. She was born and reared east of Mace and still has many friends both there and in Crawfordsville. The body will be brought here from Danville and the funeral will be from the home of her sister, Mrs. David Hugelheim of Linnsburg Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 and burial will be at Mace Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Mrs. Elmore is survived by her husband, Quincy Elmore and 3 small children, also her mother and father and 7 brothers and sisters, Otis Faust of Crawfordsville Mrs. Brint Engle east of Mace, Mell and Homer Faust of Mace; Mrs. Effie Hugelheim of Linnsburg and June and Charles at home. - kbz
