Alfred V. Bun Elmore, 84, of 1601 Elmore St., died at 5:35 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. Mr. Elmore was a retired Pennsylvania Railroad employe. He was an army veteran of World War I. He was a member of Freedom (Ky.) Baptist Church, WWI Barracks 1567 and a 50-year VFW member. He was born May 3, 1892, in Austin, Ky., a son of Hayden and Mary Jane Harrison Elmore. He was married March 30, 1920, to Maggie Richey. Survivors are a son, James H. of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Marion (Mollie) Cooper and Mrs. William (Nellie) Conrad, both of Crawfordsville; a brother, George of Glasgow, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Alma Wray of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His wife died in 1926. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. John Glosser and the Rev. Stanley Hall officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
