Waynetown -- Albert M. Elmore, 76 farmer of 8 miles south of Waynetown died at 10:30 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsvile, two hours after being admitted. He had been seriously ill the last two months. Mr. Elmore had lived all his life at the same homestead where three generations of his family resided. He was born there Sept 20, 1889 to James and Mary ann Murray Elmore. He was educated in the Ripley Township schools and Wabash College. He was married in December 1909 to Lula Seits, who died in 1930. On July 28, 1942 he was wed to Ellen Blacketer, who survives. Besides the wife are four daughters, Margaret McClure of Crawfordsville; Lemoyne Snyder of Hillsboro; Edith Houser of Ladoga; and Ethel Boyle of Highland Park, Mich; a son, James B. Elmore of Pine Village; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Grace Drollinger of Veedersburg and sister-in-law, Myrtle Elmore of Alamo. A brother, Roscoe Elmore and two sisters, Nora and Maude preceded him in death. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Monday at Servies Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Interment will be in Alamo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
