Mrs. Opal Pearl Ellis, 65, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at her home, 502 Allen St., after having been in failing health for the past year. She was born south of Crawfordsville Nov. 29, 1897, a daughter of William M. and Minnie Fullenwider Largent. She married Jack Ellis in August 1914. Mrs. Ellis was a member of the Alamo Methodist Church. Survivors include the husband; two sons, Jack of Muncie and Howard of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Vera Ellis of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Osborne of Crawfordsville; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Doris Mae, died in 1923. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Calvary Tabernacle Church with Rev. N. L. Holland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after noon Tuesday. - kbz
