Waynetown, Jan 30 - Mrs. Eunice Ellis, 99, believed to be Montgomery County's oldest resident died Friday morning in Indianapolis at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Westfall. She had been ill eight weeks. Born Aug 1848, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Ellis who was a lifelong resident of the county, was the daughter of George and Mary Gardner Warfield. She married William G. Ellis of near Waynetown April 21, 1872. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died are two grandchildren, Paul Westfall and Bee Kerr and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home with burial at Waynetown Masonic cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home, Rev. John Cassidy of the Waynetown Baptist Church of which Mrs. Ellis was the oldest member will be the officiating minister. - kbz
