ELLIS, Howard Fredrick - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Howard F. Ellis, 67, of 401 Tinsley Ave., died Saturday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. A graduate of Crawfordsville High School, he was a retired painter. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Ellis was born August 2, 1920, at Crawfordsville, to Jack and Opal Largent Ellis. Survivors include a son, Donald of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Terri Lyles of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. A son, Sonny, is deceased. Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. N.L. Holland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
