Friday--Mrs. Verna Elliott, 81 of Ladoga died Thursday evening in Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health for two weeks. She was a member of Ladoga Christian Church. Born March 7, 1892 near Ladoga she was a daughter of Jesse and Elllen Graybill Oliver. She married Chauncey Elliott July 23, 1913. He died in 1964. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Maxine Renauto of Brownsburg; two sons, Carl of Cherry Valley C; and Robert of Ladoga; a sister, Mrs. Letha Peffley of Crawfordsville; a half sister, Ruth Smith of Remington; a half brother, Raymond Oliver of Ladoga; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Perkins Funeral Home, Ladoga with Rev. David Canine officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. - kbz
