Impressive funeral services were held last Friday afternoon for Mrs. Ethel ELLIOTT whose death occurred at Culver Hospital following an illness of two days. Rev. JH Wilson pastor of 1st Christian Church p[aid high tribute to the exemplary life of the deceased. He recalled her pleasant mannerisms, her willingness to be of service to anyone in need of aid; her active participation in Church affairs and her devotions to her husband and other relatives. Two sons, In the Garden with Jesus and Beautiful Isle were rendered by Mrs. Harry Rynearson and Herbert Ellis. The pall bearers were: George Branstetter; Paul Stump; Orpheus Goodwin; Roy Shields; Ernest Biddle and Frank Holland. Flowers bearers were: Mrs. Roy Nichols; Mrs. Clarence Black; Mrs. Russell Bruner; Mrs. Paul Stump; Mrs. George Branstetter; Mrs. Roy Shields; Mrs. Ernest Biddle; Mrs. Frank Holland; Mrs. Richard Poore; Mrs. Herschel Utterback; Mrs. Wilbur Hauk and Mrs. Lee Graves. Interment took place in oak Hill Cemetery.
