James C. Ellington, Logansport resident and 23-year-employee of Rockwell Standard Corp. died at 10:10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital at Logansport. Mr. Ellington graduated from Crawfordsville HS and was a resident until 1934 when he married and moved to Logansport. He was a member of the First Christian Church at Crawfordsville and had retained his membership until his death. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 323 of Logansport. He was born Jan 7, 1911, the son of Claude Z. and Leatha M. Hedge Ellington. On Dec 24, 1934, he married Jane Lucas who survives. Surviving besides his wife are two sons: Claude William of Ft. Wayne and James Daniel of Ft. Bragg, NC; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Cooper of Logansport; two brothers, Merle and Austin of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Decker of Danville, Ind; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral in Logansport with Rev. Raymond Shelton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home.
