Kay Elledge, 19, Crawfordsville was killed Saturday when she stepped into the path of a big truck along Highway 231 in Crawfordsville. The truck driver, David Fell, 18, Pomento was not charged.

Kay A. Elledge, 19, Crawfordsville, a member of the Women's Air Force, was killed Saturday when she stepped off a sidewalk into the path of a semitrailer truck on US 231 in Crawfordsville. Police said Miss Elledge who was home on leave was dragged 100 feet under the rear dual wheels of the tractor unit. The driver, David Fell, 18, rural Pimento was not charged. Services for Miss Elledge, daughter of Mr. and mrs. James R. Elledge, Crawfordsville will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
