Warner F. Edwards, the 17-year-old-son of Charles Edwards, formerly of this city, died yesterday at the family residence in Lafayette form peritonitis. The remains were brought here on the noon train and taken to the residence of his brother-in-law, Edward Shirk, on east Market Street. A short service will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock Tuesday, Rev. Mater officiating. Members of the family will act as pall bearers and the body laid to rest at Oak Hill - transcribed by kbz

Warner Edwards, aged fourteen years, died of peritonitis last Sunday morning at two o’clock in Lafayette. The body was brought here Monday and the funeral took place Tuesday morning at ten o’clock from the home of the sister of the deceased, Mrs. Ed. Shirk, of East Market Street. Rev.
