Ordlay A. (Slim) EDWARDS, who was self-employed as a bulldozer operator and lived in Judson for the last 17 years died at his home Friday; age 46. Edwards was originally from Tennessee. He was a soldier during WWII and was a member of the Waveland American Legion Post. He was born June 6, 1916 at Bean Station, Tennessee and was married march 22, 1963 at Greencastle to Mary RIDDELL. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Danny and Rodney; 5 brothers; Carl; David; Nathan; William and Faye; 3 half-brothers: Fred; Charles and John; 5 sisters, Mrs. Sallie Powell; Mrs. Letha Roberts; Mrs. Mamie Hayes; Mrs. Doris Martin and Mrs. Minnie Payton; an aunt, Amandy Howard and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland with burial in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. - kbz
