Darlington – Mrs. Jessie Pearl Edwards, 77, widow of James V. Edwards, died in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, Wednesday night. Born in Montgomery County she was married first to Carper G. Crowder who died in 1939.. Her second marriage was in 1947 and Mr. Edwards died in 1958. Mrs. Edwards attended Bowers Grade School, St. Mary-of-the-Wood Academy at Terre Haute and MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Ill, and later studied music at DePauw University. She was a member of the Darlington Methodist Church and a member and past matron of the OES Chapter. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph A. Edwards, Rt 6, Crawfordsville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joseph Booher of Darlington and Mrs. Joseph Riggins of east of Darlington; a stepson CM Edwards of Dowagiac, Mich and a sister, Mrs. Belva J. Wolf.
