Edwards, Mack Curtis

Mack Curtis Edwards, 66, father of three local residents died at 1:20 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at an Indianapolis hospital. He had been ill since 1935 with a complication of diseases. Mr. Edwards was born Dec 31, 1874, near Yountsville, the son of Charles and Martha Mack Edwards. In 1900 he married Rose Bard. He was a member of the Christian Union Church near Waynetown, where he spent most of his life.
Surviving besides his widow are two sons and a daughter, are two sons and a daughter, Harold J. Edwards, Ernest E. Edwards and Mrs. Dora O. Dulin; two brothers, Herbert Edwards and Roy Edwards also of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Thomas and Mrs. Albert Swearingen of Crawfordsville and Mrs. John Rogers and Mrs. Ed Shirk of Indianapolis and four grandchildren. One son, Gould, four brothers and a sister have preceded him in death.
The body will be taken to the home of his son, HJ Edwards at 1002 Danville Avenue, where friends may pay their respects. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at the HUnt & Son Funeral Home. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
