Word has been received here of the death Tuesday afternoon of Dr. Charles C. Edson, Civil war veteran, at a hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Edson, who in his early life was a resident of this city, has lived in Lawrenceburg, Ind., for many years. He was 90 years old. At one time he was a member of the local G. A. R. post. The veteran is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude M. Drynan Edson, and a daughter, Mrs. E. J. Libbert of Lawrenceburg. The funeral service will be held at the Fitch Brothers Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery there.
