Waynetown – William Fulton Edmonds, 63, Rt 2, Waynetown died Saturday morning at Culver Hospital where he had been a patience since Aug 16. He was born in Virginia, Apr 22, 1904 to James Franklin and Margaret Ellie Cannoy Edmonds. He was married twice, first to Grace Arnett and on July 8, 1932 to Jessie Hickerson who survived. He moved from, Virginia to Illinois when he was a child and had resided in this area since 1955. He had been employed most recently by DC Bane Lumber. He also had been employed at Culver Hospital, the Crawfordsville Street Department and Sommer Metalcraft. He attended the Church of God Full Gospel Mission in Crawfordsville. Survivors besides the widow include 5 daughters: Mrs. Betty Deblae and Mrs. Shirley Blacylock, both of Oaklawn, Ill; Mrs. Barbara Canta of Mokena, Ill and Vonna and Rosemary at home; six sisters, Mrs. Stella Hooker of Midlothian, Ill; Mrs. Velma Krumwiede of Kankakee, Ill; Mrs. Reba McGuire of Elliott, Ill; Mrs. Effie Dewey of Gibson City, Ill; Mrs. Nellie Swaney of Urbana, Illinois; and Margie Shoal of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Earl Edmonds of Gibson City, Ill and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Elmer, Lee and Franklin. Services will be at the Bright Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with Rev. Frank Ryan officiating continued at 3 p.m. in Gibson City Cemetery. Friends may call at Bright Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday. --- kbz
