JC Hutchinson agent of the Vandalia RR joined a party of officials of the road yesterday to go to South Bend to attend the funeral of JC Edgeworth, a former agent at Crawfordsville and who died at South Bend Sunday afternoon. Mr. Edgeworth was agent of the road back in the 80s and was a widely known and popular official. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lura H. Edgeworth and one daughter, Miss Patricia Edgeworth at home, the following brothers and sisters: Michael of Chicago; Miss Mary of Indianapolis, Misses Jennie, Kate, Debarah and Anna of Irvington, Ind. The funeral was held yesterday and attended by many railroad officials.-- transcribed by kbz
