Clarence J. East. 72, Darlington, formerly of Indianapolis died Tuesday in Community Hospital. He owned East Market at Darlington. While in Indianapolis, he owned and operated the Glendale Meat Market and was a meatcutter at several grocery stories. Born at Attica, he was a member of the Methodist Church and masonic Lodge in Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife, Daisy Oakley East; a son, David E. East and a daughter Judith Bogardus. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Burkhart Funeral Home at Darlington where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. – kbz
