About 10 o’clock on Monday night, Jasper Earl, aged 16 years died at the home of his parents on west Pike street after but a few days illness with congestion of the bowels. Young Earl was a most energetic boy, having held several positions since his parents moved here and giving up each with a good record. The future before him was a bright one had he been spared for it. Rev. WJ Rose conducted the funeral services at the home on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
