Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Howard Earl of Vincennes lost their infant babe. The father brought the remains here Thursday and had it placed by the side of a baby brother in the Masonic Cemetery. -- although reading this you'd think it was buried in C'ville but this was found in the wonderful Proctor Waynetown Masonic Cemetery database and yes, "Infant Earl" is listed as passing 23 Nov 1903 (but that seems off as this was in the 23rd paper. Hmmmm

The one and a half pound baby of Howard Earl and wife is still receiving considerable attention from our people. Almost daily there are large crowds to visit Mr. Earl’s home to see the infant and all express the belief that it is truly a sight. It has grown only ½ pound in weight since being born – Waynetown Hornet.
