The body of a Rockville man, Alfred M. Earl, 33, was recovered Monday afternoon from the Wabash River. Earl drowned Saturday evening shortly after 6. Mr. Earl was an employee of Rockville Municipal Utilities. A veteran of WWII, he was a member of American Legion & VFW; Rockville Volunteer Fire Dept. Survivors include wife, Norma; two daughters; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Earl of Marshall; two brothers, Roscoe and Ben; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Tague; Mrs. Jack Cook; Mrs. Violet Purvis; Mrs. Charlotte Lepre. Memory Garden Cemetery.
