Waynetown March 31 - Mrs. Susannah Dwiggins 93, one of the two oldest resident of Wayne Twp died at the home of her son, Charles Dwiggins here Thursday morning at 4:30 o'clock. Mrs. dwiggins had been in declining health for a number of years. Complciations and infirmities of old age caused death. Mrs. Dwiggins was born near Wayentown July 10, 1930 (sic - 1830) a daughter of Levi and Mary Small Fouts. Her father was a pioneer Waynetown merchant establishing a store here in 1834. Mrs. Dwiggins was united in marriage to John Dwiggins Dec 21, 1858. After her marriage she moved to KS where she resided 3 years. The following year she and her husband moved to Veedersburg where they lived one year. For the next 15 years they lived in Rossville & Danville, Ill. For the past 25 years Mrs. Dwiggins lived in Wayentown. Her husband died Oct 18, 1913. Ms. Dwiggins was active in church affairs and and was a charter member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Two sons, Charles of this place and Howard of Danville, Ill; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren survive Mrs. Dwiggins. Another grandson Lt. Russell Dwiggins died in the aviation service during the World War.  Funeral services will be held at the home of her son here Saturday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. WA Newlin of Crawfordsville. Interment will take place in the Waynetown cemetery. With the passing of Mrs. Dwiggins, Uncle Tom Livengood, father of Verne Livengood of Crawfordsville becomes the oldest resident in the township. Uncle Tom, also 92 is enjoying excellent health and is unusually active for his advnaced years - kbz
