Mrs. Roscoe C. DURHAM died at her home near North Judson on Monday afternoon after an extended illness. The body was brought to the home of Mrs. HH ELMORE, a sister of mr. Durham, east of Crawfordsville where private funeral services were conducted by Rev HH Elmore. Burial in Freedom Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Durham was Miss Tillie von TALGE and was born in Franklin July 6, 1886. She graduated from Franklin College and attende Terre Haute Normal. She was teacher of English in our schools in 1914 and 1915. She married Mr. Durham June 14, 1916. At that time he had a typewriter agency in northern Indiana. They have since lived in Hammond and Valporaiso and later on a farm near North Judson. Mr. Durham survives.

Among those here for the funeral of Mrs. Roscoe DURHAM last week were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Durham and Mrs. Jame Durham of Sullivan, Mr. and mrs. Ray Griffith; Mr. and Mrs. EC Jones and Scott Griffith of Franklin; Mr. and Ms. Oligner of Valporaiso; Emery Rice of LaPorte; Mrs. Francis MacSteena nd Henry Durham of Chicago. Rev HH Elmore had charge of the service and Mrs. Austin Elmore of the music. The casket was carried by Henry Durham, Emergy Rice, EC Jones, Rober Fullenwider Tom Durham, James Durham and Francis MacSteen. - kbz
