Roscoe C. DURHAM 90 a former resident of this community died Sunday in his home at Franklin NC. He had operated a business at Hammond for many years. Born May 4, 1887 at Byron, he was a son of George and Betty North Durham. He was married to Tillie Von Togle. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a abrother, Henry and two sisters, Rosalie Fullenwider and Julia Elmore. survivors include two nieces and four nephews. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freedom Cemetery with Rev. Glen Bates officiating. Machledt & Servies Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. - kbz
